We undertake precision slitting of electrical steel, copper and aluminium foil. Our machine capabilities are outlined below:

Material Thickness Capacity
  • Electrical Steel: 0.2mm - 0.5mm
  • Aluminium: 0.2mm - 1.7mm
  • Copper: 0.2mm - 1.2mm
Customer-Supplied Material Width Restrictions
  • Minimum: 25mm
  • Maximum: 900mm
Chaotech-Produced Material Width Limitations
  • Minimum: 10mm
  • Maximum: 600mm
  • Trim-cuts of between 2mm and 10mm can be achieved, but the off-cut is not rolled up and is hence waste material.
Product-Roll Inner Diameter Options
  • 508mm standard.
  • 406mm option.
Customer Supplied Coil Inner Diameter Options
  • 508mm standard.
  • 406mm option.
  • 300mm option.
  • Unusual diameters or rolls with damaged centres may be accommodated.
